The goal of Exchange Your Kindness for Some Goods was to promote sustainability, social responsibility, and conscious consumption by involving international students in volunteering at Po-Dzielnia — a local sharing space. The activity aimed to show that small acts of kindness and community support can be rewarding, fun, and impactful.
ESN UAM Poznań organized a unique and meaningful event at Po-Dzielnia, Poznań’s well-known reuse and sharing center. The concept was simple but powerful: help out, give your time and energy — and in return, take what you need. 💚
Participants helped organize the space, fold clothes, and support the daily work of the center. In exchange, they were able to pick out second-hand clothes and useful items — giving them a second life and reducing waste in the process.
There was no money involved — just kindness, cooperation, and a shared commitment to sustainable living. Students were also encouraged to bring their own reusable bags and, if they wished, donate items they no longer needed.
It was a perfect way to do something good for the planet, for the community, and for each other. 🌍✨
