Spending a chill evening playing a game of social deduction (MAFIA) and practicing our pokerfaces 🤡
This game has its own set of playing cards but we used a standard 52-card deck (clubs, diamonds, hearts & spades) and created our own version (a lot simpler and easier to understand). Students were divided into groups of 7 - 10 based on how many people were present. Gamemasters took the lead and managed the games following the basic rules (3 Mafia 6 citizens 1 Sheriff). Those who wanted to play with advanced rules (having doctors, snipers, etc) could play with that too if the entire group agreed to participate.
It was a nice evening with a lot of laughter. Some people were really good at detecting Mafia while others were some had a very good (well practiced 😋) poker face and could fool the other participants into making them think they were citizens.
