The idea with any Karaoke event remains the same, people show up, have fun trying to sing songs that they normally wouldn’t be able to and cheer up for their friends who are amazing singers!
This is a recurring event that occurs regularly in Tallinn. During one semester usually there are more or less 3 Karaoke events taking place. People put forward their names on a sheet of paper and give the sheets to the host of the evening (usually the owner of the place is also the host). One by one people are called up, they can see the lyrics on the screen and sing their favourite songs. No one has to be a good singer to be able to go up there. Mostly the crowd sings along and that results in an all round fun night. Of course the 20% discount from the bar with ESNcards plays some role in the night activities as well 😂
As always Karaoke was a popular event in Tallinn. Though it started at 21:00, people started filling up at around 22:00. The venue is very popular among the students and the bar offered a surprise for the first 2 singers. This is one event that is sure to be repeated again and again based on its popularity.
