This Quiz Night's goal was to foster friendly competition between the International Students, who were gathered in teams of 3 to 5 people to compete and answer quiz questions about culture, fun facts, Portugal, Coimbra and pop culture.
The activity was held at O Reitor, so that participants could have a drink with their friends and team mates before, during or after the quiz itself. The quiz was set up on Kahoot and projected on a big screen at the bar, making it easier for everyone to see the questions, which each team would answer on one of the team mates's smartphone.
Disclaimer: Because of Covid-19, everyone wore a mask and respected social distancing, during the entire activity. Everyone got their temperature checked, at the beginning of the event.
This Quiz Night fostered friendly competition between the participants and strengthened their friendships. It also gave some of them the opportunity to meet other people in a fun, culture-filled activity, which also allowed them to learn more about Portugal, Coimbra and the world.
