The goal of this activity was to gather qualitative information from young people about the barriers that young people face to accessing international opportunities and exercising their rights as European citizens.
This focus group aims to gather information from students about their perceptions on key topics:
- - Awareness of opportunities offered by the EU
- - Challenges and barriers to participating in these opportunities
- - Knowledge of the rights of mobile young people
- - Impact of mobility and civic engagement
In this way, we seek to detect difficulties or lack of information in order to adapt to the needs of young people and make European programs more inclusive.
17 young people took part in this activity: ESN volunteers and young people from different backgrounds. The facilitator of the sessions was guiding the discussion, asking them questions to generate a debate about the topics mentioned to collect the results presented below.
The focus group took place in València, Spain, at the Consell Valencià de la Joventut. As ESN is an entity that is part of this regional youth council, the training room was reserved for the conduct of this focus group.
