This event has been organised within our cooperation with the organisation EMY. EMY is running a multi-national project co-funded by the EU Commission - Empowerment of Mobile Youth in the EU.
In the focus group we talked about the students' experiences in regard of political engagement, the barriers that complicate democratic engagement in Austria, about their needs, expectations and recommendations to empower them when it comes to political and social engagement in Austria.
The focus group was led by highly skilled professionals who have a broad knowledge about European politics. There was a fruitful discussion about different topics and the students could ask all their questions about the EU and its politics.
The focus group is not only important for EMY to gain data for their study, but also a very big asset for the students political education.
