Goal of the Activity

From 3.-5.11.2023 the National Assembly of ESN Austria took place in St. Pölten. The presentation aimed to inform members of ESN Austria about EGiA project. As part of the agenda, EGiA project was presented to all participants of the NA and the following goals of EGiA were presented:


  1. Increase awareness and uptake of benefits and opportunities for young people funded by the European Union as a means to increase the feeling of belonging to a community of citizens.
  2. Increase active citizenship of young people around Europe to take part in civic, social and democratic processes.



The project "Erasmus Generation in Action" (EGiA) aims to increase awareness of opportunities for young people funded by the EU and to increase active citizenship of youg people around Europe. Main goals and the three phases of EGiA project were presented. The Education Team of ESN Austria explained what happened in Austria so far and presented the current phase. In a session, which took place afterwards, we discussed an event by ESN Austria to promote mobility among young people as part of EGiA project.
