Goal of the Activity
The main goal of the activity was to educate about shelters and how students can get involved in helping the animals. All participants spend one day in the shelter as volunteers.
Description
All participants spend one day as a volunteer in the shelter. First, they were shown around the building, including the cat clinics and then the shelter employee explain how the animals are getting to them. Everyone had the opportunity to spend time, play and take care of proteges of the shelter. At the end of the event, everyone took 3 old dogs (Barry, Aza and Richi) for a walk.
