The objective of the activity is to stimulate social interaction between the erasmus students and the ESN board members to get to know each other and increase connectedness.
The activity started with a paper with all kinds of characteristics. The intention was to talk to people and to find out if the person met one of the characteristics on the sheet, e.g. someone who plays the guitar, find a person with two brothers,.... after the ice had broken, tables were pushed together to create a sliding system in which couples were given two minutes to get to know each other better. After that, one side of the tables slides through and meets another member or board member of ESN to be able to ask each other questions again. This was repeated until everyone had met.
The search for the characteristics went smoothly in the beginning, but after half an hour the members lost focus and it resulted in conversations between the ESN members rather than really playing the game. The second part, the real date part, went smoothly, using the two-minute push-through system.
