Objective / Goal of the activity
The goal of the activity was to insert Erasmus students into the local community of the city that they are studying at, through a cooking experience with orphan kids.
Description
Due to the success of the last session, we repeated the activity again this time to celebrate Valentine's Day with a different purpose. Erasmus students cooked pancakes and muffins with the kids for an afternoon. They had ESNers translating and facilitating the communication when it was necessary and got the chance to get to know an orphanage as a place for social inclusion.
Result of the activity
The Erasmus were as always really into this type of activity and were really invested throughout the afternoon with the kids, taking breaks from the cooking to play games with the kids.
