The goal of the ceramic workshop is to foster creativity and self-expression through hands-on experiential learning while promoting mental well-being and cultural appreciation. By engaging participants in traditional ceramic-making techniques, the activity encourages intercultural dialogue, supports slow and sustainable practices, and creates a space for relaxation and mindfulness. The workshop also aims to build a sense of community, highlight local craftsmanship, and emphasize the value of manual, artistic work in an increasingly digital world.
During the ceramic workshop, participants were guided by an experienced mentor who introduced basic ceramic techniques and assisted everyone step by step. Erasmus students and ESN members had the opportunity to shape their own ceramic creations using traditional methods. After the workshop, the pieces were left to dry and fired in a kiln. Once ready, participants could collect their unique handmade items and take them home as personal souvenirs.
