With this event we tried to combine charity and fun with the most kind way. The goal of this event was to motivate the Erasmus students to bring food and other things needed and give them to charity and at the same time have fun and feel that they actually helped to make people in need a little happier. We CAREoke because we care!
With the CAREoke event the Erasmus students had the chance to sing karaoke for a good cause, by bringing with them food and other things that are needed and give them to charity. In addition, part of the entrance fee was also given to charity. The food and all the stuff that were gathered were given to "Philoxenia Food and Kindness" which helps refugees and other people in need.
We managed to gather many bags full of food and other needed things at the event and eventually we took them to "Philoxenia Food and Kindness". At the same time, the Erasmus students not only helped a lot by bringing food, but also had fun by singing karaoke, which was the best way of bonding and meeting new people and sing with them, even though it took place in the middle of the semester. It was also a perfect opportunity to have fun with their friends and make also new ones.
