By encouraging local and international students to support a cause that could save lives, ESN sections throughout Greece are promoting social responsibility and solidarity through their Blood Donation initiative. Through community involvement, we seek to promote unity, support regional healthcare systems, and increase awareness of the value of becoming a blood donor. Our ultimate goal is that students from different backgrounds work together to improve society, which aligns with our core values of empathy, inclusion, and active citizenship.
One blood donation initiative by ESN UTH has already taken place in Volos on the 10th of April and we are very proud of our local section for supporting this noble cause! The number of participants was very significant!
On a larger scale, on the *9th of May* many ESN sections will collaborate to organise blood donations🩸 in their cities. This is a very import cause and once again we want to be a part of it🤜🤛. We would like to invite all of you, ESNers, volunteers, anyone you know that might want to help, join us on this initiative and donate blood🩸. This time the blood donation will take place in Larissa, with the valuable assistance of the amazing medical staff of the University Hospital.
