Objective / Goal of the activity

The goal of the activity was to introduce to Erasmus students how persons with cerebral palsy live and how skillful they can be, especially when it comes to art. We invited an artist Stjepan Perković to tell us more about himself and to teach us how to paint using only our feet. Also our common goal was to tear down prejudices and help the students to develop tolerance and creativity in everything they would like to do now or in the future.

More about Mr. Perković you can find here: https://www.stjepanperkovic.net/about-me-1/

Description

Have you ever wondered why art is important to us?
Students with disabilities cannot do certain things on their own and therefore depend on others. However, those that have a talent usually find a way to develop as artists despite their disability.
This event is for everyone who wants to meet professional painter Stjepan Perković and try painting with your mouth or feet.

Result of the activity

We created an intimate atmosphere with low number of participants where every student had an opportunity to ask, comment and try out painting with feet. Mr. Perković loved cooperating with us and he always likes to meet new people from different countries to share opinions and life experiences.
