The aim of the event was to promote the integration of the Neapolitan Erasmus students through sport. Particularly, the formation of one or more teams made up of several nationalities (there were Spanish, French and German students) who could train together weekly starting from that day. The final goal of the activity was to assemble a competitive team for the National Erasmus Games (NEG) of Italy.
The event took place in the afternoon in Lungomare Pertini in Pozzuoli, a very fascinating place that offers free public Basketball fields. The students formed 2 teams of 3 people switching the formations for each match. They played several short-term matches, the event lasted approximately 3 hours and at the end an external person joined the students to train with them.
The goal was reached, an ESN Naples Basketball team was created and the students were very excited to train weekly in order to take part in the NEG 2020.
