ESN Ankara University has organised an event for all our international students to visit Ataturk's mausoleum on Republic Day, the day when Turkey was officially announced as a republic. This is an opportunity for international students to learn more about Turkey, Turkish history and understand Turkish culture from a closer perspective. This event will help students integrate more into Turkish society, they will learn more about Turkish values, experience the celebrations and ceremonies in this day with the public
The students were impressed by the celebrations, ceremonies and learned more about Turkish values and history. They were also amazed by the number of people attending this event, this gave the students a closer perspective about Turkish society.
