Since the shelter is really small and there were a lot of students in Tallinn for the semester we decided to make multiple visits to the animal shelter, each time taking up to 15 students with us
The students had an opportunity to visit the shelter, see how the work is being done, play with the animals and feed them, and have an opportunity to learn about volunteering possibilities at the animal shelter.
All students gathered at the meeting point before going to the animal shelter together. One of the volunteers at the shelter showed them around and talked about how the work is done at the shelter. The students were also informed about how they can be more involved with the work of the shelter. At the end the students were able to pet the cats and walk the dogs. The event lasted for about 1.5 - 2 hours.
