The activity is part of the Conference cycle on the Future of Europe and shares its aims, that is, on the one hand, to involve citizens in European decision-making processes, increasing awareness of what it means to be citizens of the Union, from It is more to understand what the citizens themselves would like the EU to do for them. The collaboration in this initiative not only increases the institutional importance of ESN Venezia, but makes its citizen members active and aware, who act as spokespersons for their international peers, carrying forward the ideas and values of the Erasmus generation.
For years ESN Venezia has been collaborating with Europe Direct.
Thanks to the very close institutional relationship with this partner, we came into contact with other important bodies, including the European Federalist Youth Association of Venice.
This is how our participation in the “10 tables for Europe “ was born. The event, which took place on 29 October, was open not only to associations and entities involved in the organization, but also to all young people interested in issues inspired by the categories of the COFE platform, such as civil rights, cultural integration, climate interrelation, climate change, sustainable development European foreign policy, multilevel governance and federalism. The assembly was divided into working groups on various topics and each table drafted a concrete proposal which at the end of the day was handed over to the MEP Sandro Gozi, who was invited to the event.
