The "Schuman 2.0" project, co-funded by the Europe for Citizens Programme of the European Union, aims to foster citizens' understanding of the EU, its history and its diversity, and in particular to raise their awareness of the historical significance of the Schuman Declaration.
Between September 2019 and June 2020, the UEF will celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration on 9 May 2020 with a twofold aim: to raise awareness of the importance of the European project at a time when it is being questioned due to the spread of various nationalisms, promoting a common vision for the future of Europe.
