Objective / Goal of the activity
Teach students how to use React to develop complex frontend applications.
Description
This was a multi-part workshop, where we focused on details about React, some theory behind it, how it developed and why it exists and is used on such wide scale right now.
One part was educational, mainly going through existing code and explaining what's happening. Second part was live-programming, where we implemented some new functionality together.
Result of the activity
Questionable, 80 % of the attendees left in various part of the workshop, reasons mostly uknown. The rest was working pretty well and even asked interesting questions throughout the workshop. Some of the students left with basic knowledge of React and were able to employ it to develop some basic applications.
