Goal of the Activity
  • The aim of Booste tes compétences is to help volunteers and international students identify, promote and effectively communicate the skills they have acquired through community involvement and international mobility.
  • Through practical workshops, personalised support and a comprehensive guide to recruitment, the programme aims to build confidence, employability and the ability to promote these experiences in a professional context.
Description
  • Booste tes compétences is a programme designed by ESN Paris to help volunteers and international students promote their skills and experience. Inspired by ESN France's Boost Your Mobility programme, it aims to show that community involvement and international mobility are real levers for employability.

  • The programme offers:

    - Monthly 45-minute workshops for volunteers on practical topics such as CV writing, cover letters, promoting volunteer work and preparing for job interviews.

    - Monthly drop-in sessions and a workshop for international students to help them promote the skills they have acquired through mobility.

  • At the same time, the volunteer leading the project has developed a comprehensive practical guide, ‘Everything you need to succeed in recruitment’, comprising 22 pages and 10 chapters, covering all stages of the application process. It will be given to participants at the end of the workshops and translated into several languages (English, Spanish, German) to make it accessible to all.
  • The programme is free of charge and run by Élisa, a volunteer working in human resources with experience as a recruiter, with the support of volunteers from the Communications department, who are involved in creating and distributing the tools.
  • The objective is clear: to give participants the means to get to know themselves better, to value their experiences and to strengthen their confidence in order to succeed in their professional projects.
