This Language Café was organized with two main goals in mind: first, because it was set up at the beginning of the semester, it allowed International Students in Coimbra to get to know each other in an informal setting, where they could talk to each other freely and make friends. Secondly, it was set up as a speed-dating activity, where participants talked to one another about whatever they wanted, as the main goal was to help them learn a new language or pratice a language they wanted to be fluent in.
Inspiring people to set up their own business project. The programme includes practical lessons from own experience, start-up basics and a discussion about entrepreneurship.

Nicola, ex ice cream man and Active member, together with other ESNers, organized an online class on the preparation of homemade ice cream, without ice cream maker, only with the ingredients necessary for different flavors, ice and salt to give it consistency. The explanation of the procedures was combined with the history and curiosity of the ice cream, which entertained the Erasmus and which we believe is the connection point that fascinates them and that makes them choose to follow this type of activity, instead of watching a video procedure on Youtube . During the lesson we talked about an important part of Italian culture and, why not, also we tried to give the idea that ice cream can be healthy, if done well. Health and well being tip: no cream or condensed milk, the only ingredients for a lemon ice cream are water, sugar and lemon juice! The event lasted just over 2 hours and various types of ice cream were prepared: lemon, chocolate, strawberry, cheesecake.
The main purpose of this activity was to bond the former and current members of the section. Take the first step in this area after many years.
The subgoals of this were to promote the function of the sections alumni community as a source of knowledge and experience usable for any sections members and to make it clear that the section cares and values its former members (to pay attention to the and include them should they desire it in the organization).
The specific goal of the event from a structural point of view was to make an hour-long video meeting where part of the meeting would be structured and part of it freestyle (open questions).
The goal from the content point of view was to enable the alumni involved to share their experiences from their ESN career with other members such as ESN national and local events or others.
The goal of our weekend workshops was to integrate our section members with aspiring members as well as to provide them with knowledge and abilities that may be useful during their ESN career and their future life and jobs.
