The DETAS (Digitalising Erasmus Traineeship Application & Support) project is a collaborative initiative co-funded by the European Commission and coordinated by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). Launched in January 2024 and lasting for three years, DETAS aims to significantly improve the Erasmus+ trainee experience.
By enhancing the erasmusintern.org portal, developing robust policy frameworks, and conducting capacity-building and outreach activities, DETAS seeks to bridge the gap between academic and professional lives for young Europeans.
This project aligns with the European Strategy for Universities and the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), prioritising increased Erasmus+ traineeship participation and supporting digital transformation in education.
