The "Schuman 2.0" project, co-funded by the Europe for Citizens Programme of the European Union, aims to foster citizens' understanding of the EU, its history and its diversity, and in particular to raise their awareness of the historical significance of the Schuman Declaration.
The goal of these sessions, organised by the University of Coimbra, was to welcome the incoming international students and to inform them of practical matters regarding their stay in Coimbra. ESN Coimbra collaborated with the university, and presented the network, our events, and other helpful information (about the ESNcard, accomodation, etc).
The objective of this activity was to provide high school students with all the opportunities offered by the European Union in terms of work and academic life. As ESN Modena, our main goal was to describe what ESN does as an international network, the work of ESN Italia and our activities at a local level for the exchange students at University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Also, we wanted the students to be aware of the possibility of doing exchanges abroad and how it works, by recounting our experiences as exchange students.
