The main goal of this activity was to provide the participants with the opportunity to briefly experience meeting new people like visually-impaired people, and to challenge stereotypes related to the other's visual appearance. Furthermore, another objective was to raise awareness about inclusive mobility, as it was aimed at international students.
CAREoke is an activity where international students are invited to donate items for one of the city's charity institutions. The goal of this edition was to gather items such as long-lasting food, school supplies or hygiene items to donate to Colégio de São Caetano, an institution that accomodates and supports children and young people in danger, ensuring their basic needs are taken care of (such as their education and well-being).

Students who would be finishing their exchange or who would like to clear out their room were invited to donate clothes, books, kitchenware and other useful items they no longer needed to a local charity, 'Refuweegee'. Refuweegee welcome refugees to Glasgow by providing them with a welcome pack, which contains donated items they may need to feel at home in the city. The students were invited to write a small "Letter from a Local" - a postcard which would be included in the welcome pack, to welcome the new arrivals with a small message, for example, some advice on the best parks to visit. The goal of the activity was to raise awareness of how we can help others in society in a small way, and to inform students more about the work which people in Glasgow are doing to welcome refugees, and integrate them into life here. The collection also aimed to raise awareness of environmental sustainability - instead of creating waste by throwing our old items away, we can recycle them by giving them to someone who will use them!
The aim of this activity was to collect used clothes and items in order to give them to a no-profit organization which helps less fortunate people. We organized it at the end of January so the Erasmus students who were finishing their experience could leave whatever they did not mean to bring back home.
