The goal is to do some exercise together helping both mind and body to stay fit and feel good in difficult times for everyone. Different circuits took place throughout all classes from HIIT to TABATA circuits and pyramid performance for endurance. We have also carried out yoga activities with the aim of being together, relaxing and appreciating this practice that promotes well-being in its entirety. It's a nice way to move and to get involved in social activities during these hard times, and moving together is definitely more encouraging and motivating rather than working out alone.
We carried out two types of lessons: yoga and exercises. The main focuses of the yoga practice are to be conscious of the breathing and of the position of the body in space. Through the exercises, we want to build strength, to improve our flexibility and to relax through some particular positions. The Erasmus students are really enjoying the practices and they’re participating actively. After practice we spend some time talking and getting to know each other through Meet and, as the time passes, a community has been built. Students that attended the training session will be able to do different kind of exercise about all over the body, and repeat them also later on alone. The activity is much appreciated by everyone because is much funnier to do Sport with someone else than alone, and it helps to know people and create a community also from distance.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
