The goal of the activity was to introduce international students to the practice of mindfulness thanks to IULM's counsellor. More information here can be found here: https://www.iulm.it/en/news-ed-eventi/news/mindflulness-course-for-students.
The practice teaches you to interact with your body and mind while focusing and controlling your breath and emotions. The participants had the chance to practice for 8 weeks, once a week, a mindfulness session of 50 minutes fully in English guided by IULM's councellor for international students.
Both students and ESNers enjoyed the activity although not participating to the full set of 8 sessions. They suggested for it to be done again and said it really helped their mental health.
