Cleaning up a natural site, increasing awareness of nature conservation, responsible consumption, socialising in a responsible way, bringing different social groups together
As part of the Malta FA PlayGreen project, ESN Malta is teaming up with JEF Malta, MAKE, Insite, Extinction Rebellion and the Malta FA for the long awaited, Green Day!
Green Day will consist of cleaning up the beach of Riviera (Ghajn Tuffieha). Volunteer and help us rehabilitate the beach and maintain a cleaner and beautiful environment.
The clean-up will take place on Saturday 28th November at 10am, followed by a football game for whoever wishes to join, organized by the Malta FA.
Here’s another special treat! With the Christmas season just around the corner, we will put up a real Christmas tree which we will then decorate with YOUR heartfelt messages of goodwill in your native language!
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you’ll organise yourselves into small groups of 6. It is also very important that you wear a mask and bring hand sanitizer.
We will be providing basic resources, such as; garbage bags, gloves, sand sieves, rakes and buckets, however if you have a pair of your own gloves and a bucket, we encourage you to bring them along!
