The main goal was to recognise and promote international volunteering experiences and their impact, as well as familiarise both new volunteers and external youth with the ESN journey.
The objective for our participants was to become familiar with how ESN fosters professional development and how they can maximise their international volunteering experience in order to improve both their soft and hard skills. As a secondary learning objective, we wanted the participants to become acquainted to the ways in which they can evolve in ESN.
The participants were able to connect with members of our alumni community by listening to their unique and highly impactful ESN stories. Furthermore, we as a section managed to increase our visibility externally, contributing to a yearly initiative entitled National Volunteering Week and opening up to the local community.
