Objective / Goal of the activity

Food for Thought is a workshop-based activity with the aim of introducing healthy vegan food to International Students and generating a debate about veganism, vegetarianism and how to make sustainable choices when choosing what we eat.

Description

During this activity, International Students were invited to a vegan lunch-workshop. They were guided by ESN Coimbra's volunteers, who helped them prepare the recipes - a main dish and a dessert. After preparing the food, the group gathering around a table to have lunch, while debating about veganism, reducing meat consumption for the environment and for our own health, and how to be sustainable while on a student budget.

Result of the activity

This workshop allowed International Students to experience vegan food, to try new recipes and to learn from each other about healthier food choices and how to take small steps to help the environment.
