Goal of the Activity

The goal of the activity was to allow International Students to meet and relate with Local Students of their same age while doing sports.

Description

A group of Vocation Trainig Students from CES Santa Barbara prepared some sports activities and games. As soon as the international students arrived they were divided into groups in order to follow all Covid-19 restrictions, they also had to keep their masks on during the whole activity. Once the groups where ready, each grup went on to play with the local students one of the following sports: Voleyball, futbol, Ultimate Frisbee and handball. After a certain amoun of time, all the groups changed activity so eventually they had tried the four stations.

Each Erasmus's group has some local students assigned to it that directed the activity and played with them. After playing all 4 sports, some typical spanish games were played like "La araña" and "El pañuelo". So the international students got the chance to experience some Spanish popular culture that not many foreigners get to know about.

Finally, each participant gave some feedback of the activity to the local students so they could learn which had been the strong suits of it.

After the activity concluded both the teachers and the local students told has how happy they were of this colaboration. The international students that went were also very vocal of how much fun it was and that they would like to repeat it.

In conclusion, it was a great activity and given the good feedback we are very motivated to keep colaborating with CES Santa Barbara.
