The goal was to raise awareness on the environmental issues which are going on nowadays and to spread information regarding biodiversity and pollution. We wanted to show the importance of preserving the balance of the ecosystem and to respect all the animal species; we wanted also to highlight the impact that our actions could have on the environment.
We uploaded on our Instagram and Facebook profiles an informative video made by our members. As interactive activity, on our instagram page there were a series of quizzes on environmental topics, such as carbon emissions, plastic pollution and biodiversity. We wanted to give to our Erasmus students an opportunity to reflect on these issues.
The 46 International students who participated in this activity acquired data and information on some of the most recent events, like fires in Australia, a terrible locust invasion in Kenya and problems related to climate change and global warming. They had also the chance to challenge their knowledge through our quizzes and to learn new things thanks to them.
