The goal of this project was to present to Erasmus students some fundamental aspects of Italian culture, both related to the beauties of our country, and to the socio cultural aspects which characterize Italians, as differences between North and South Italy and our gestures. The project aims to create a contact between Erasmus and ESNers to achieve a cultural exchange on both sides. Indeed Erasmus were often asked to briefly talk about the same topics related to their origin countries.
We talked in the first meeting of Center and South Italy: its typical landscapes, the most famous destinations and the most delicious food associated to each place. In the second meeting we talked about Italian stereotypes, with a special focus on Italian Gestures. Both meetings were supported by a PowerPoint presentation. The calls were interactive thanks to questions to and from Erasmus during the presentation and with a final quiz without any app, to promote direct interaction between Erasmus and ESNers. The first theme was presented both in Italian and English thanks to the strong support of images.
