Firstly we played a special kind of bingo, a Christmas bingo, in which people had cards with names of Christmas customs and traditions and they had to find people who had done these things, the first person to finish it was the winner.
Once the ice was broken, we moved to the next part of the activity. We splitted people in pairs in order to have conversations in the language they wished. We gave them some questions to help them starting the conversation, and after a fixed time, other pairs were formed.
In the end, to finish the activity we played a game called 'Tabu' but in this case in a Christmas version, in which people describe a word without using other related that appeared on the same card and other people have to guess. It was played by groups to see who guessed more words in a limited time.
We provided some snacks, fruits and juices in order to lighten the mood and make the conversations smoothier, we added the typical Christmas pastries, 'Roscón de Reyes' and chocolate milkshake for the occasion.
The response of both the international students and the local students was very positive towards the activity.
