We all know the phrase "With great power comes great responsibility". But also, with great things come great risks. When experiencing mobility, students face a lot of potential dangers of being alone in a foreign country. One of the greatest dangers targeting children and young people is human trafficking, continuous global issue that not many people are efficiently informed about. That's why we organized an event with a speaker from Croatian Red Cross that will talk about everything you need to know to keep yourself from dangers of human trafficking while enjoying your travel and mobility experience.

The awareness was raised! :) People do not often think about this kind of problems, but unfortunately, they are part of our reality. We were presented the frightened statistics of people disappearing in our country, as well as in our local community.
We learned a difference between human trafficking and human smuggling and how to distinguish whether is a word about prostitution (that is legal) or human trafficking. We watched some films and discuss what are the most dangerous situations for this kind of deceits. In the end, we were given some tips on how to fight human trafficking.
