Description of the event:
Every year, thousands of smaller or bigger communities and volunteers come together to #leavetheirmark and clean a polluted or damaged area that really needs care and protection. So, in collaboration with the organisation "Let's Do it Greece" we are participating in the biggest simultaneous volunteering action for a better and cleaner environment!
ESN in Athens invites you to become a part of this huge volunteering movement and #LeaveYourMark in the local community! So, join us on Sunday 7th of April and help us clean the Pedion Areos park so that we can all enjoy and have a great time in a clean park and therefore in a cleaner environment!

How did they contribute to the event:
They created the initiative and many smaller or bigger organizations could join and organise their own cleaning action all around Greece. Each cleaning action could either last one week or only one day, namely Sunday the 7th of April.
Besides that, they provided us with gloves and plastic bags. Finally, they promoted this simultaneous volunteering action through social media and through a TV show that they attended in order to talk about their initiative.
