Description of the event:
We started a few meters away from the 'chocolatería', we gave the blindfolds to the international students in the street prior entering the establishment. We were told by by the students that the floor felt different as to what they are used to when walking without the blindfold.

Once inside the 'chocolatería' we were given the churros with chocolate. The international students had to eat the churros whilst the ESNr gave them instructions in order not to get spilled over.

Some international students tried to tie their shoes without seeing to see how it felt, a pair of them even tried to dance salsa with the blindfolds! Before taking them off, we also helped the international students to try and pay their meal with the blindfolds in order to identify the different sizes of coins / feeling of the bills.

During the activity we also talked about the causes of blindness and we played a game of which foods can help to improve or worsen the sight.

The international students enjoyed the activity very much, the feedback they gave us is that they were able to appreciate sounds, flavours, and textures in a different way.
