For participating in Alternative Cooking workshop, aiming at raising awareness of food waste and teaching how to minimise their wastage by using the leftovers.
At the beginning we divided people into 5 teams of 4 people. They were assigned to tables with some products. At first you might have troubles with coming up with an idea what to create since the products looked like hard to connect. Thanks to our guest - finalist of MasterChef the groups finally came with ideas and started to prepare the dishes. During the event we saw huge involvement of the participants. All the event was held in zero waste surrounding. We had eco friendly dishes made from palm leaves! All the event was prepared with close colaboration with our partners - Głodomur and Base Camp Lodz.

How did they contribute to the event: 
This event aims at raising awareness about this fact and so the dinner will be cooked by guys from Głodomur – an initiative of three Polish high school guys who will show you what can be made of food that seems to be too bad to still use it. They prepared list of base products we needed to have and also they came up with idea to give some souvenirs at the event - we gave little spoons with 3 logos on it (ESN-EYE, Base Camp and Głodomur). DUring the event they were helping groups develop their idea of the final dish.
