What is the main cause of the activity?:
Description of the event:
Every child should get at least one present for Christmas, but some families don't have sufficient means to do that. We sold candy (sugus) for a symbolic amount in order to raise money to buy toys for the kids at risk of social exclusion (those whose parents cannot afford to buy them new toys or products of first need). All the money was destined to the purchase of toys and goods and we assured that they received them.

How did they contribute to the event:
It is an activity they have been doing for some years now, mainly in the hospital and in the Faculty of Medicine. We included the rest of the Faculties of the university along with International Students. Also, they were in charge of delivering the toys and other products to kids in need through the associations Cantabria Acoge and Federación Niños del Mundo.
Additional Comments / Outcome of the activity:

We raised around 300 € and with what the other association raised too we were allowed to buy around 100 toys, diappers, powdered milk, cereals and jars of baby food, etc.
