The goal of this activity is to raise awareness about marine biodiversity and wildlife conservation while encouraging responsible and sustainable interaction with natural environments. By participating in a turtle release and exploring Cefalù, participants are encouraged to reflect on the importance of protecting ecosystems and adopting environmentally conscious behaviors.
The “Turtles Release & Chill in Cefalù” event offered participants a unique opportunity to combine environmental awareness with a relaxing and social outdoor experience. The highlight of the day was the turtle release activity, where participants witnessed the return of sea turtles to their natural habitat, promoting awareness of marine conservation and biodiversity protection.
In addition to the environmental component, the trip included a guided city walk through Cefalù, beach time, and a shared sunset moment. Participants were encouraged to adopt sustainable practices throughout the day, such as using public transport and minimizing waste. The event fostered a strong connection between participants and nature while creating a space for intercultural exchange and community building.
