Goal of the Activity

The goal of our meeting will be to embroider on our very own reusable tote bags in order to be more sustainable for our environment. It's crucial to reduce plastic waste and together we can make a difference, while still having tons of fun and staying creative!

We will provide all the necessary materials, including the plain totebags, embroidery needles and string 🧵 No previous embroidery experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and let’s learn together!

Description

The activity was a creative sustainability workshop focused on reducing plastic use by designing and embroidering reusable tote bags. Participants received all necessary materials — bags, thread and needles — and were guided through the embroidery process, regardless of their previous experience.
The event encouraged slow, mindful creation, allowing students to relax, socialize and express their creativity while learning a practical skill. By decorating their own bags, participants were motivated to replace single-use plastic bags with a durable, personal and eco-friendly alternative. The workshop combined environmental awareness with hands-on learning, highlighting how small lifestyle changes can contribute to a more sustainable future.
