Goal of the Activity
Enjoy a Christmas movie, alongside the food shown in the the movie, while raising awarness and donating the profit to UNICEF Groningen.
Description
The event took place on the 10th of December at SKLO and started at 19:00. During the movie, food was served to the participants. We prepared pizza, mac and cheese, and ice cream sundaes, which were served while the movie was playing. The ticket price was donated entirely to UNICEF for their emergency fund.
Outcomes
Most participants liked the choice of the movie and enjoyed the food. The committee worked well together and communicated clearly, except for a few moments when the kitchen was crowded. There were no major organizational problems, and the idea of combining food with a movie was well received.
By organising this activity, the organisers want to contribute to the following Sustainable Development Goals
