Goal of the Activity

The Susan G. Komen Italia Race for the Cure has two main goals: first, by raising money through participation fees, sponsorships, and donations, it helps fund vital research into the causes, prevention, treatment, and potential cure for breast cancer; second, it serves as a public awareness campaign, educating participants and the wider community about the importance of early detection, risk factors, and available resources for prevention and support.

Description

The event consisted of a 10 km marathon for the competitive teams and a 5 km run for the non-competitive teams. Each of us chose to participate in our preferred option.
