The activity aimed to encourage social and cultural interaction between international and local students by providing a relaxed and informal setting for collaboration and exploration of the host city. Through team-based challenges and visits to popular local locations, the event helped facilitate intercultural communication, foster new friendships, and enhance participants’ sense of belonging and well-being within the community.
The Bucharest Pub Crawl was organized as a social and cultural activity aimed at bringing international and local students together, offering them the opportunity to meet, interact, and experience Bucharest’s vibrant nightlife. Participants followed a carefully planned route through several popular pubs, each offering a different atmosphere—from traditional Romanian venues to modern cocktail bars.
The evening began at the historic Hanul lui Manuc, where participants were welcomed, divided into teams, and introduced to the rules and activities planned for the night. As the groups moved from one location to another, they took part in themed challenges, icebreaker games, and friendly competitions designed to encourage teamwork and social interaction. The event concluded at El Comandante Club, where the final scores were announced and participants continued the evening with music and dancing.
By combining social activities with the exploration of local venues, the event aimed to strengthen the sense of community among participants, promote intercultural exchange, and help students feel more connected to the local environment.
