The goal of the activity was to support homeless and people in need through a charitable initiative, while promoting social responsibility, solidarity and Polish culture among ESN volunteers. The event aimed to engage students in meaningful volunteer work and show that even small actions can make a real difference in the local community.
As part of the Pierogi for Charity activity, ESN volunteers first came together to prepare traditional Polish pierogi. The cooking process was a great opportunity for teamwork, integration and learning about Polish cuisine.
After preparing the pierogi, we distributed them to homeless people and those in need, providing warm meals and support to the local community. The activity combined volunteering, cultural exchange and charity, creating a positive impact both for the volunteers and the beneficiaries.
