The goal of the Personal Finance Course was to equip participants with essential financial literacy skills to help them manage personal budgets, develop responsible spending habits, and gain confidence in making informed financial decisions. The activity aimed to improve participants’ independence, long-term planning abilities, and employability-related life skills through practical non-formal education.
The Personal Finance Course offered Erasmus students and young adults an accessible introduction to personal financial management through an interactive and practical workshop. Organised in cooperation with InfoGiovani, the session explored key topics such as budgeting, saving strategies, financial goal setting, and the basics of investing.
Participants were encouraged to reflect on their spending habits and learn practical methods to better manage limited budgets, particularly in the context of student and independent life. The workshop also created a safe and engaging environment for discussion, allowing attendees to ask questions and exchange experiences related to financial challenges and opportunities.
Led by an ESN member with academic and practical experience in business administration and investing, the activity promoted experiential learning and empowered participants with useful lifelong skills connected to personal development and future career readiness.
