The goal of the hike was to showcase the beautiful heritage of the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park. There the need of natural protection was encouraged, so the new generation understands, the legacy we receive from older generation should be kept and protected.
Moreover, this hike was a great opportunity to encourage people to get out and spend quality time on a fresh air. Meeting with their friends strengthens bonds while overcoming positive challenges.
A group of 19 adventurous students included incoming students, and the trip's organisers accepted a not-so-brief challenge. Catching a train before 10 AM and travelling to the venue for two hours introduced an opportunity to update each other on the latest life updates. After arrival, the group set off for a ca 3-hour-long hike which gifted beautiful views and created the opportunity the deeply appreciate Mother Nature.
The hike included several amazing photo shoots with an opportunity to regain some strenght at a mountain cottage offering classical Austrian sausage meals and soups.
Reaching the train station in Erlaufklause gave many relief. However, energy levels remained high, and everyone continued with pleasant conversations until reaching our homes in St. Pölten.
