The initiative aimed to create a warm, family-like atmosphere, allowing participants to experience local traditions and share different cultures around the table.
During December 24th, 25th and 26th, our volunteers hosted Erasmus students for a lunch or dinner, welcoming them into their homes to ensure they would not spend the Christmas holidays alone while being far from their own homes and families.
After the meals, volunteers and students spent time together playing card games and board games, strengthening bonds and fostering cultural exchange in an informal and welcoming setting. This activity promoted inclusion, friendship, and a strong sense of community, reflecting ESN’s core values of support, integration, and cultural sharing during a meaningful time of the year.
