The movie screening was part of the "Social Impact Days," an initiative aimed at making a positive impact. The primary goal of these days was to organize activities to raise funds for ESN Spain, supporting their relief efforts for communities affected by the recent floods in Valencia.
The goal of the movie screening is twofold:
First to raise Funds for ESN Spain: all proceeds from ticket sales was donated to the section. The event also seeks to bring people together, creating a space for cultural exchange and dialogue among students, locals, and festival attendees. It allows student to discover a new film they probably wouldn't have seen otherwise.
As part of ESN Social Impact Weeks, we’re excited to invite you to a special screening of My Sunshine during the Stockholm Film Festival!
About the Film
Follow Takuya, a boy who challenges expectations by following his passion for figure skating and his deep connection with Sakura, a promising skater. Directed by Hiroshi Okuyama, My Sunshine is a visually stunning, dreamlike coming-of-age story that celebrates authenticity and queer themes.
