Goal of the Activity

Developing practical and transversal skills in innovation, public speaking and entrepreneurship, fostering initiative among international and local students through an intensive and collaborative learning experience.

Description

The ‘Lucania Power Camp’, a masterclass organised by ESN Sui Generis Basilicata in collaboration with Basilicata OpenLan and Elis Innovation Hub, took place from 8 to 10 April 2025. The event involved Erasmus students, local students and young innovators in a training course inspired by the methods of Design Thinking, Lean Startup and Public Speaking.

During the first day, an opening conference was held on the topic of bioenergy, followed by inspirational events, the launch of design challenges, an introduction to the tools of the method and first sessions on Design Thinking, with a focus on the divergence-convergence dynamic for generating innovative solutions.

The second day was dedicated to the development and validation of ideas: definition of the user experience (UX), use of the Business Model Canvas, competitor analysis and definition of the go-to-market strategy, as well as the development of a design pitch deck.

Finally, the third day saw the preparation of the pitch for potential investors and the final presentation of the projects, with expert feedback sessions and the closing of the masterclass.

The activity represented a unique opportunity to enhance collaboration between international students and the region, focusing on innovation, digital skills and personal growth.
